Helene V. Maguire, 81, of 531 Lake St., Green Lake, passed away Match 15, 1995 at home.
She was born January 16, 1914 in Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Mae Collins Papp. She was educated in Waukegan, Illinois. She was a clerk for 40 years. On November 1, 1933 she married Kenneth R. Maguire who preceded her in death in 1976. She lived in North Chicago until 1975 when she moved to Green Lake. She was a member of the Friends of the Library of Green Lake.
Survivors include one daughter: Judith (Robert) Levonowicz of Green Lake, 2 sons: Keith (Andrea) Maguire of Winthrop Harbor, Ill, and Kenneth (Judith) Maguire of Ripon, 10 grandchildren: Richard (Wendy) May of Fond du Lac, Karen Levonowicz of Ripon, Robert (Erica) Levonowicz of Oshkosh, Mary (James) Benzine of Ripon, Heather Maguire of Ripon, Jim Maguire of Prairie du Chien, Erin Maguire of Ripon, Angela (Harold) Sokup of Zion, Kathy Maguire of North Chicago, and Jennifer Maguire of Winthrop Harbor. Also surviving are 3 great-grandchildren: Samantha Jo Sokup of Zion and Nicholas and Ryan May of Fond du Lac, and 1 brother: Carl (Frances) Papp of Waukegan, IL. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Helene V. Maguire will be held at 10:00 am. Saturday, March 18, 1995, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Lee Baird being the officiator. Interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
Friends may call from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, March 17, 1995, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A memorial has been established for Hospice Hope of Berlin.
