Helen M. Negus, age 79, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 1991, at Parkview Care Center.
She was born October 20, 1911, a daughter to John and Clara (Winters) Dermody. On January 20, 1940, she married Paul W. Negus in Clinton, IA. She was widowed in 1976. Mrs. Negus had resided in Ripon the last 13 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Jo Negus of Ripon and Marjorie (Glenn) Johnston of Lake Mills; two sons, Charles Negus of Coos Bay, OR, and Paul (Judy) Negus of Joliet, IL; twelve grandchildren including Scott and Patti Carpenter of Ripon; four great-grandchildren; one brother, John Dermody and one sister, Josephine Dermody, both of Clinton, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and three sisters.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the hour of services at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church on Friday, July 19, 1991.
Funeral Services for Helen Negus will be held Friday, July 19, 1991, at 10 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon. The Reverend William L. Toelle will officiate. Grave side services will be held at 2 p.m. at St. Henry’s Cemetery in Watertown. A memorial has been established.
