Helen Lillian Nieratka, age 80, of W11271 RoseEld Rd. Rosendale, passed away Friday, April 16, 2004, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.

Helen was born November 15, 1923, in Chicago, IL a daughter of John and Barbara (Boksa) Frankiewicz. She graduated from Butternut High School in Butternut, WI. She married Alex Nieratka and they resided in Milwaukee where she was employed in assembly line work. Helen was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Milwaukee and more recently a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon.

She is survived by two daughters; Kathleen (Michael) Wroblewski of Delafield, WI and Carol (Chuck) Evert of Rosendale, WI. four grandchildren; Daniel Wroblewski and Samantha, Renae and Michael Evert, one sister; Irene Frye of Chicago, IL and Alex Nieratka of Milwaukee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon with Father Robert A. Fictum officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. There will also be a Mass held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at St. Gregory the Great Congregation Catholic Church, Milwaukee with Father Ken officiating. Visitation on Wednesday will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Entombment will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
