Helen V. Plotz, age 95, of Bellingham, WA passed away on June 26, 2002. She was born April 10, 1907 in Ripon, WI to Emil Albert Hass and Marie Helena Stollfuss.
She married Arthur H. Plotz in 1933 in Oshkosh, WI. Helen and her late husband operated a farm in the Omro/Poygan area until 1959, when they moved to Ripon.
She enjoyed playing cards, her vegetable garden, and traveling. In 1999, she moved to Bellingham, WA to be near her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Arthur H. Plotz on June 10, 1974; brother Fredrick J. Hass on February 16, 1956; and son Robert A. Plotz on December 11, 1978.
She is survived by daughter Shirley J. (Harold) Edminster of Everson, WA; granddaughters Amy Edminster and Kay (John) Cruikshank; great-grandchildren Ryan Edminster, Jessica Cruikshank, Laura Cruikshank, and Erin Cruikshank.
A visitation will be held at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon on Wednesday, July 3, 2002 from noon to 2 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
