Helen Minnie Stubenvoll, age 84, of 860 Sunnyside Rd, Green Lake, passed away Friday, April 6, 2007 at Kindred Hearts in Green Lake.
Helen was born on July 8, 1922, in Pomeroy, Iowa, the daughter of Heye and Kate (Els) Loots. She graduated from Pomeroy High School and Wartburg College. On September 6, 1945 she married the Reverend Carl L. Stubenvoll. Helen lived in Pepin, WI from 1945-1951 then moved to Ripon. She was a teacher for grade school and a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Rebekah Circle and Quilting group.
Survivors include daughter, Judy (Arnold) Strom of Sun Prairie, WI; sons, Steven Stubenvoll of Wausaukee, WI and Jonathon Stubenvoll of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Cynthia and Matthew; 6 sisters, Catherine, Evelyn, Eunice, Delores, Carol and Maxine; brother, Donald; special friends, Smith kids and their families and other relatives and friends. Helen is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Carl on February 16, 2004.
Visitation for Helen Stubenvoll will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon
Memorial Service for Helen Stubenvoll will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Reverend Maurice A. Schaus and Reverend Sandra Krynik officiating. Inurnment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
