Helen "Susie" O'Callaghan

Susie O’Callaghan of Green Lake passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2005 after several years of suffering with Alzheimer’s Disease at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon. She was born to Thomas and Catherine (Winn) Connelly in Oxnard, CA on October 27, 1925. She leaves her husband, Leo of 55 years, five children, Sheila (Hal) Pohlman of Grayslake, IL, Patrick (Leslie) O’Callaghan of Los Angeles, CA, Molly (Dave) Bonenfant of Malibu, CA, Terence (Andrea) O’Callaghan of Sacramento, CA and Tom O’Callaghan of Chatsworth, CA. She is also servived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

An avid sports woman, Susie loved playing competitive tennis and golf. She also loved to dance and play the piano.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, WI. Fr. Philip Krogman will officiate. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the church preceding the service. Inurnment will take place immediately following the Mass at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Mount St. Mary’s Alumnae Scholarship Fund, C/O 12001 Chalon Road, Los Angeles, CA 90049.
