Helene M. Albright, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 1987, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Helene was born June 4, 1910, in Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of Emil and Bertha (Benzel) Scharfenberger. She graduated from Goodrich High School in 1929 and of Fond du Lac Normal School. On September 14, 1938, Helene married Howard J. Albright in Fond du Lac. She worked as an elementary teacher at Henderson School in rural Ripon. Helene was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, Women’s Guild and a charter member of Lakeshore Homemakers Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary H. Albright of Ripon; one son, Alan H. Albright of Markesan and one sister, Margaret A. Parker of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard on May 5, 1974, her parents and one sister.
Visitation for Helene will be held on Friday, December 4, 1987, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Helene will be held on Saturday, December 5, 1987, at 2:00 pm at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend James D. Mohr officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
