Helene D. Schrader, age 94, passed away Monday, December 11, 2006 at Ripon Medical Center.
Helene was born on September 15, 1912, in Markesan, the daughter of Carl and Louise (Herrmann) Dumdey. Helene graduated from Brandon High School, and on June 3, 1939 she married Arnold Herman Schrader in Brandon. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, as well as being in the Ladies Guild, the Altar Guild, and past member of the Ripon Garden Club, and the Ripon Science Club past President.
Survivors include four Godchildren; Clair (Shirley) Kentopp of Oshkosh, Herm (Karen) Kentopp of Jackson, Cindy (Tom) Conlin of Brookfield, and James (Lynnette) Lieske of Ripon. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Helene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Carl.
Visitation for Helene D. Schrader will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home from 10-11:00 am.
Funeral Services for Helene D. Schrader will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Mark R. West Officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials are to be directed to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
The Family extends a special thanks to the owners and staff of the American House in downtown Ripon for the tender loving care they provided to Helene in the final 2 years of her life.
