Henry A. Hilke, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 1991, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 31, 1912, in Princeton, WI, the son of Adolph and Louise (Kobernick) Hilke. On August 10, 1940, he married Leona Pehlke. She preceded him in death on March 27, 1988. Mr. Hilke farmed in the Town of Nepeuskun all of his life. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
He is survived by one son, Thomas of Kohler; one granddaughter, Veronica; one brother, Elmer of Ripon and two sisters, Dora of Milwaukee and Esther of Florida.
Private funeral services for Mr. Hilke were held Saturday, January 26, 1991, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Dean Peterson officiated. Interment was at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial in his name has been established for the church.
