Henry E. Schave, age 81 of Ripon, WI passed away on Friday, June 15, 1951 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.
Henry was born in the Town of Ripon, WI on October 21, 1869, the son of August and Ernestine Schave. On February 23, 1895 he married Anna Teetz in Ripon. He lived all his life in Ripon, and worked as a well driller, thresher, and hay bailer.
Henry is survived by four sons, Louis of San Diego, CA, Ernie of Ripon, WI, Edward of Milwaukee, WI, and George of Ripon, WI; five daughters, Edna Zasada of Fond du Lac, WI, Lillian Sitzwohl also of Fond du Lac, WI, Mae Schalow of Wausau, WI, Ann Reese of Pensacola, FL, and Helen Soronen of Sheboygan, WI; 27 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. P.A. Goodrich of Green Lake, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Ernestine Schave; and wife, Anna Schave who died on December 18, 1942.
Visitation for Henry will be held from 6:00 pm on Saturday, June 16, 1951 until 2:00 pm on Monday, June 18, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Henry will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 18, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
