Henry Heinie Tetzlaff, age 92, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, March 1, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Henry was born January 26, 1893, in Wautoma, WI, the son of Herman and Pauline (Broese) Tetzlaff. He served our country in the United States Army during WWI. Henry married Ella Kordatzky on December 6, 1917 in Texas. He was owner of Rimpler and Tetzlaff Meat Market in Ripon, Buehler Brothers Market in Fond du Lac and owned a fox farm near Ripon. Henry was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon, the Ushers Club, Mens Brotherhood, was on the church council, American Legion, Odd Fellows and The Last Mans Club.
Survivors include his wife, Ella; one daughter, Hilary (Henrietta) Wells of Milwaukee, WI; four grandsons, two great-grandchildren, one brother, Herman of Montello, WI and one sister, Bertha Thompson of Ripon, WI. He was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Visitation for Henry will be held on Sunday, March 3, 1985, 4 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Odd Fellows Rites at 7:45 pm and VFW and Legion Rites at 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service for Henry will be held on Monday, March 4, 1985, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ with Reverend James Mohr officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established for the church.
