Henry Voight

Henry J. Voight, 81, of 537 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, died Saturday, February 18, 1989, at Sunnyview Village Nursing Home in Princeton.
He was born December 12, 1907, in the Town of Metomen to Robert and Charlotte Draheim Voight. On September 9, 1929, he married Frances Seabul.
Mr. Voight was educated in the Town of Metomen. He was a farmer and also night watchman at Ripon College from 1961 to 1982. He lived in the Ripon area all his life. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lorraine Hielsberg of Ripon and Charlotte Berndt of Lenexa, Kansas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Eric Voight of Sussex and one sister, Adeline McCullough of Ripon. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
