Herman Altnau, age 76, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, September 11, 1954, at Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh.
Herman was born December 6, 1878, in Broddan, Germany, the son of Johann and Eva Altnau. On August 30, 1908, he married Anna Werdin in Germany.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; one son, Eric of Milwaukee and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter.
Friends may call on Saturday, September 12, 1954, after 6:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Herman will be held on Monday, September 14, 1954, at The First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
