Herman C. Beier, age 71, of Ripon, WI, passed away on November 17, 1987, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Herman was born March 10, 1916, in the Town of Green Lake, WI, the son of Arthur and Minnie (Helmer) Beier. On June 14, 1936, he married Lucille Malzhan until her passing on November 5, 1957. Herman worked as a livestock trucker and dealer. He also worked as a Highway Department employee for Fond du Lac County for 7 years.
Survivors include four sons, David and Larry both of Ripon, Don of Redgranite and Dan of Berlin; two daughters, Jean Paul of Appleton and Betty Liptow of Ripon; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Robert of Ripon and Harold of Green Lake and one sister, Laura Watkins of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille and one brother.
Visitation for Herman will be held on Friday, November 20, 1987, from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Herman will be held on Friday, November 20, 1987, at 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Fairwater Cemetery in the Village of Fairwater.
