Herman Fredrick Draves, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Herman was born January 25, 1900, in Rush Lake, WI, the son of Charles and Emilie (Hempel) Draves. He married Adela Griese on May 9, 1923 in Ripon. Herman worked as a farmer in the Town of Ripon until 1944 when he moved to Ripon. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Adela; two daughters, La Verne and Donna Mae of Ripon, WI and one sister, Mildred (Harold) Zentner of Van Dyne. He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Visitation for Herman will be held on Monday, July 22, 1985, from 4 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Herman will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 1985, at 11:00 am at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend James Mohr officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established for the church.
