Herman Langenhorst, 61, of Green Lake, died Monday, September 21, 1998, in Lima, OH as a result of a traffic fatality.
He was born April 6, 1937, in Lynng rove, IA, a son of the late Conrad Anthony and Josepha Ida (Schwartz) Langenhorst. He received his education in Mayville, and served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. Herman was owner/operator of the Langenhorst Trucking Co. In November of 1993, he married Carol Lambert. He was a former member of the Green Lake Rotary Club, and attended Wyldwood Baptist Church in Oshkosh.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; 2 sons, Todd (Diella) Langenhorst of
Ripon and Scott Langenhorst of Neenah; I stepdaughter, Tiffany Kjonaas of
Green Lake; 3 grandchildren, Sonya, Callie & Jared of Ripon; stepmother, Mary
Benjamin of Berlin; brothers, Vernon (Sigrid Gig) Langenhorst, Conrad (Ruth)
Langenhorst, and Lawrence Langenhorst, all of Berlin; sisters, Charlotte
(Stephan) Stortz, Jr of Mayville, Mary Ann Lueder and Margaret Wheeler, both of
Albuquerque, NM. -
Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 1998, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the.
Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Funeral services will be held on
Saturday, September 26, 1998, at 10:00 AM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral
Home with Pastor Randall King officiating. Burial will follow in Blufflon
Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn. A memorial has been established.
