Hollis N. Akin, age 87, of Madison, WI, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 1952, at Kasten Nursing Home in Green Lake.
Hollis was born March 15, 1865, in Winooski, WI. On May 14, 1896, he married Maude Crowther in Ripon. Hollis worked for many years in the funeral and furniture business in Ripon.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Loudon Webster of Madison and two grandchildren, Mary Ann Webster of Madison and L. Charles Webster of Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife who passed away on November 19, 1943 and one son.
Friends may call on Friday, October 3, 1952, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Hollis will be held on Saturday, October 4, 1952, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with Dr. Victor M. Rhein officiating.
