Homer Jukes Knollenberg, age 74, of Ripon, WI, passed away Sunday, December 27, 1992, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 15, 1918, in Evanston, IL, a son to Homer and Winifred Neal Knollenberg. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School and he attended the University of Wisconsin. He served in the U.S. Army. On February 14, 1942, he married Viola Radtke and they have made their home in Ripon since 1955. Until his retirement in 1980, Jukes was credit manager at Speed Queen in Ripon. He was past chairman of the United Fund Drive, and was a member and past president of Major Appliances Manufacturing Credit Associates.
In addition to his wife, Viola, he is survived by two sons, Marvin (Carol) Knollenberg of Ripon and James (Nancy) Knollenberg of Lake Forest, IL; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and his parents.
Memorial services for Mr. Knollenberg will be held Wednesday, December 30, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Dean Peterson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name has been established for the Wisconsin Council for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
