Hubert Kunde

Hubert E. Kunde, age 87, of Princeton, WI, died on Thursday, March 31, 1988, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

Hubert was born on November 6, 1900 in Ripon, the son of John and Millie (Kemnitz) Kunde. He was educated in Ripon. He served our country in the United States Navy. On May 2, 1926, Hubert married Florence Gedlinske. He worked as a clothing salesman in Ripon for 17 years. Hubert was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ and past choir and orchestra member; past president of church’s men’s club and a past member of the Ripon Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Jean) Schueller of Princeton, WI, Mrs. Arthur (Ann) Wienke of Brookfield, WI, Mrs. Marilyn Kurtz of Milwaukee, WI and Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Wittchow of Ripon, WI; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and one brother, Donald Kunde of Ripon. Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons, one great-grandson and one sister.

Visitation for Hubert will be held on Friday, April 1, 1988, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral Service for Hubert will be held on Saturday, April 2, 1988, at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon. The Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale.
