Hulda Lietz, age 66, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 1954, at the University Hospital in Madison.
Hulda was born February 8, 1888, in Germany, the daughter of William and Rosa (Gruelke) Mahlke. She came to the United States at age two. Hulda marriet Henry Lietz on August 7, 1913, in Ripon. She lived in the Town of Utica and then moved and lived in Ripon for the last fifty years.
Survivors include her husband, Henry; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Rupnow both of Ripon; three brothers, Herman and Charles Mahlke of Pickett and William Mahlke of Seattle, Washington and one sister, Mrs. Henry Wink of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call on Friday, July 30, 1954, after 5:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Hulda will be held on Saturday, July 31, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Scott Street Church with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica.
