Ida Bertha Gneiser, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 1955, at her home.
Ida was born March 2, 1877, in Princeton, WI, the daughter of John and Augusta (Messerschmidt) Dumdie. She lived in Princeton and most of life in Ripon. On November 14, 1900, Ida married Herman Gneiser. She was a member of The First Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a member of the church ladies aid.
Survivors include four daughters, Miss Adeline Gneiser, Mrs. Arthur Leese and Mrs. Leroy Wittenberg all of Ripon and Miss Nina Gneiser of Milwaukee; four sons, Lester, Edgar and Nelson all of Ripon and Karl of Tustin; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Huth of Ripon and Mrs. Sanford Bequette of Livingston, Montana. She was preceded in death by one son, one brother and one sister.
Friends may call on Monday, November 28, 1955, after 7:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Ida will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 1955, at 11:00 am at The First Evangelical Lutheran Church with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
