Ida A. Henslin, age 90, of Markesan, WI, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 1984 at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Ida was born on January 19, 1894 in the Town of Brooklyn, WI, the daughter of August and Amelia (Gehrke) Malzhan. She was educated in the Town of Brooklyn and lived in the Green Lake area all her life. On December 14, 1927 she married Arthur Henslin at Our Saviour's United Church of Christ in Ripon. He passed away on March 30, 1973. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Fairwater and of The Hope Circle.
Ida is survived by her son, Arden of Green Lake, WI; her daughter, Inez (Gordon) Sabel of Ripon, WI; three grandchildren; and one sister, Elsie Malzhan of Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; four sisters; and four brothers.
Visitation for Ida will be held from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, May 11, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, May 12, 1984 at Zion Lutheran Church of Fairwater.
Funeral service for Ida will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 12, 1984 at Zion Lutheran Church of Fairwater, with Rev. Albert Grender officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, WI.
