Mrs. Ida Hoffman, age 95, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 1991, at her residence.
She was born February 18, 1895, in Russia, a daughter of Fred and Ottelia (Weiss) Wesner. On March 1, 1917, she married Carl Hoffman. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1958.
Mrs. Hoffman was educated in Borth. She was a housewife and had lived in the Ripon area all her life. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon.
Survivors include two sons, Edwin M. and his wife, Marion of Fond du Lac and Reuben and his wife, Mary Kay of Ripon; two daughters, Edna Stutzman and her husband, Clem of Goshen, IN and Betty Eichstedt and her husband Robert, of Ripon; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Herman Wesner of Berlin, Herbert Wesner of Ripon, Arnold and Leonard Wesner, both of Oshkosh; two sisters, Lilly Meyerholtz of Fremont and Clara Sunderland of Green Lake. Preceding her in death were her husband, one daughter, six brothers, and one sister.
Friends may call Sunday, January 6, 1991, from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Hoffman will be Monday, January 7, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon with the Reverend Robert B. LeCount officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be directed to Immanuel United Methodist Church.
