Ida Kohls, age 67, of Ripon, WI passed away on Saturday, June 23, 1956 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Ida was born in Bagley, MI on March 24, 1889, the daughter of August and Wilhelmina (Zimmerman) Kiesow. She was educated in Rosendale and has resided in Brandon, Curtiss, and Ripon, WI. On September 25, 1907 she married Herman Kohls in Rosendale, WI. Ida was confirmed in 1903 at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale.
Ida is survived by her husband, Herman Kohls; two daughters, Mrs. Warren Medicke of Nielsville, WI, Mrs. Robert Ballard of Ripon, WI; two sons, Kenneth Kohls of Fond du Lac, WI and George Kohls of Ripon, WI; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Meyer of Rosendale and Mrs. Herman Drager of Markesan, WI; and a brother, Arthur Kiesow of Beaver Dam, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Wilhelmina Kiesow; two brothers; and one sister.
Visitation for Ida will be held from 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 24, 1956 until 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 26, 1956 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 26, 1956 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Ida will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 26, 1956 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend K.J. Herbener officiating. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in Rosendale, WI.
