Ida Lambert, age 72, of Redfield, South Dakota, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 1954, at Memorial Community Hospital in Redfield, SD.
Ida was born April 22, 1882, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Gustave and Louise Ristau. She was educated in the Ripon public schools. Ida married Edwin Thomas Lambert on January 21, 1909 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Redfield. She was born in Ripon, had moved to Ashton and lived in South Dakota for the past 46 years.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin of Redfield, SD; one sister, Mrs. Augusta Gneiser of Ripon; one brother, John Ristau of Ripon. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 2, 1954, after 3:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Ida will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon with The Reverend Carl Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
