Ida Opperman, age 64, of Ripon, WI passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 1951 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Ida was born on July 26, 1866 in Rosendale, WI, the daughter of Ernest and Gustie (Nook) Hemple. She has resided in the Town of Green Lake and Crystal Lake, WI. On April 19, 1906 she married Reinhold Christian Opperman in Wautoma, WI.
Ida is survived by three sons, Martin of Ripon, WI, Ervin of North Fond du Lac, WI and Arnold of Ripon, WI; three daughters, Leona Samser of Fond du Lac, WI, Ella Bacchus also of Fond du Lac, WI and Edna Schwark of Ripon, WI; a brother, George Hemple of Fond du Lac, WI; seven sisters, Minnie Wohlschlegel, Martha Pinnow, and Annie Wohlschlegel all of Fond du Lac, WI, Clara Prill of Princeton, WI, Elsie Kaatz of Wild Rose, WI, Mary Klinger of Ripon, WI and Bertha Floyd of Fond du Lac, WI; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reinhold Opperman; a brother and a sister.
Visitation for Ida will be held from 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 18, 1951 until 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 21, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Ida will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 21, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend Carl L. Stubenvol officiating. Interment will follow at Coloma Cemetery, Coloma, WI.
