Ida Schmidt, age 74, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 1954, at the Fuller Nursing Home in Ripon.
Ida was born July 26, 1879, in Princeton, WI, the daughter of August and Otillian (Seifert) Berndt. She married Edward Schmidt on October 21, 1897 in Princeton.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Emil Redman of Markesan; two sons, Erwin of San Angelo, TX and Fred of Ripon; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Quast of Ripon and Mrs. Martha Wicks of Princeton; five brothers, George Schmidt, Edward, Fred and Gustave all of Markesan and Frank of Brandon; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Robert and Marvin; one daughter, Margaret; one sister and three brothers.
Friends may call on Friday, April 9, 1954, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Ida will be held on Saturday, April 10, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Evangelical United Brethern Church in Ripon with The Reverend C.A. Bender officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
