Idell Nesgaard

Idell J. Nesgaard, 83, formerly of Racine, WI, died Saturday, February 19, 2000, at Juliette Manor in Berlin, WI, where she has lived since April of 1997.
She was born October 7, 1916, in Racine, a daughter to Peter and Emma (Amundson) Anderson. After graduating from Racine High School and attending secretarial school, Idell became Social Services Secretary for the City of Racine. In 1942, she married John W. Nesgaard and he passed away in 1942.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara N. (Thomas) Kilgore of Ripon and Marilyn (John) Anderes of Bowie, Maryland; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and one niece of Racine. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Ardis and Stanley Hansen.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 22, 2000, at 10 am at Mound Cemetery Chapel, Racine with Pastor David Busker officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery in Racine.
