Irene M. Cotton, age 81, formerly of Ripon, died Friday, February 27, 2004, in Searcy, Arkansas.
She was born March 2, 1922, in Shiocton, the daughter of Edwin and Flora (Templer) Kreger. Irene was a retired office manager and was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church of Searcy and the V.F.W. Auxiliary of Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, George Cotton; 2 sons, Keith (Angela) Cotton of Searcy and Allan (Vickie) Burr of Redgranite; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ramona Hansen of Beaver Dam.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Reverend Jack W. Kraaz officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. A funeral service was held in Searcy at an earlier date. Memorials in her name may be made to the Good Samaritan Center, 1512 West Park St., Searcy, AR 72143
