Irene Dorothy Katerzynski, age 74, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 1992, at her home.
She was born March 13, 1918 in Ripon, the daughter of Frank and Edith (Schilling) Lichtenberg. She was educated in Ripon. On September 4, 1937 she married Louis Katerzynski in Princeton. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Irene had worked at Admanco in Ripon, formerly the Ripon Advertisers, for over 50 years. She loved flowers and while she was able she enjoyed taking care of her flower beds.
She is survived by one son, James of Ripon; three sisters, Betty Hoffman of Oakfield, Louise Waters of Ripon and Caroline Powell of Oshkosh; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Russell and Charles Lichtenberg.
Funeral services for Irene Katerzynski will be held Tuesday, September 29, 1992 at 1:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Reverend William L. Toelle will officiate. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Town of Ripon. Friends may call Monday, September 28, 1992 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
