Irene Masche, 88 of Ripon, died Saturday, January 10, 1998, at Ripon Medical Center.
Irene was born November 18, 1909, in the Town of Ripon, the daughter to the late William and Marie (Heidtmann) Hoffman. She graduated from Ripon High School, and attended Oshkosh Business College. Irene lived in Colorado, moving to Ripon in 1991. She was a Bookkeeper for a C.P.A. firm until retirement. Irene was member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon, and the Ripon Stamp Club.
Irene is survived by a daughter Susan Huthinson, of Chino, California; sisters Vera Myers of Milwaukee, Leone Hoffman of Ripon, Glady Strebig of Medford and Marion (Adolph) Hermann of Ripon and one brother Charles Hoffman of Redwood City, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence and one brother Orville.
Private family service will be Wednesday, January 14, 1998, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home Ripon, with the Rev. Eric Burnard officiating and interment will be in Loper Cemetery, Town of Ripon.
A memorial has been established.
