Irene Elizabeth (Meyer) Miller, age 82, of Ripon, WI, was taken into God’s arms on October 10, 1996, in Markesan.
She was born on December 19, 1914, to William and Minnie (Zank) Meyer in Brooklyn Township. She was educated in Ripon Schools. She worked for Admanco, Ripon Foods and Miles Kimball, and also did babysitting in her home and was loved by the children.
Irene leaves behind her husband, Elmer of Ripon, whom she married October 23, 1935, her daughter, LuAnn (David) Medick of Randolph; a sister, Everdeen Bice of Ripon; sister-in-law, Doris Meyer of Ripon; one aunt; six nieces; four nephews; fifteen cousins; including special cousin, Gordon Grams of Eau Claire; numerous friends, and much loved pet, Bogie. Irene joins her parents, a brother, Lawrence Meyer and nephew Ralph Bice, Jr. in heaven.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 12, 1996, at 2:00 pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with Pastor David Busker officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 until the time of the service at the church. A memorial has been established.
