Irene Pearl Wade, age 90, of Markesan, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 1993, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born on June 8, 1903, in Wazeka, WI, the daughter of Emma Graf and Gottlieb Vincent Von Popper. She was employed in Milwaukee, WI for many years before retiring in Markesan in 1970.
Surviving are two daughters and two sons-in-law, Lenore W. Dickmann and her husband, Lloyd of Markesan, and Jessie W. Ripple and her husband, Richard of Ithaca, New York; one granddaughter, Lynne C. Peterson and her husband, Michael Peterson III of Dallas, TX; two great-grandchildren, Christine Kelsey Peterson and Michael John Peterson IV; one sister-in-law, Sophia Popper of Milwaukee; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, five brothers, and her husband, Rolland Wade.
Funeral services for Irene Wade will be Thursday, December 9, 1993, at 2:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend William Mich will officiate. Interment will be in Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. Family and friends may call Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
