Irma Grace Louise Badtke, age 91, of Parkview Care Center, Ripon, died Thursday evening, November 11, 1999, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born February 28, 1908, in the Town of Ripon, a daughter to Otto and Anna (Schrader) Badtke. She attended the Berlin and Ripon Public Schools, and Oshkosh Business College. Irma was cashier/bookkeeper at Wisconsin Power & Light Co. in Ripon for 30 years. She also had worked at Howe Printing Co., and the Advertisers Mfg Co. for a period of time. She was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, the Ripon Historical Society and A.A.R.P. She had been a member of Ripon Womens Major Bowling Assn and was instrumental in its establishment
Survivors include her sisters, Olive Blake of Ripon and Alice Brunner of Horicon; sister-in-law, lone Badtke of Appleton; many nieces & nephews; grand-nieces & nephews; and great-grand-nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, three sisters, and her parents.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 14, 1999, from 5 until 7 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, and on Monday from 10 AM until the hour of the service at the Chapel of Our Saviours. Funeral service will be Monday, November 15, 1999, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ with the Rev. Eric Burnard officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials may be given to Our Saviours UCC in her name.
