Irma Laura Foss, age 83, South Milwaukee, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 1992, at Lincoln Lutheran Home in Racine.
She was born in Green Lake Co. on August 14, 1908, to Henry and Meta (Zellmer) Heft. She was educated in the Green Lake an Oshkosh Schools. On May 6, 1928, she married Randolph Ross. They made their home in the Picket area from 1939 until his death on July 7, 1975. She then lived in Ripon form 1975 until she moved to South Milwaukee four years ago. Mrs. Foss was a long time member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Pickett and a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Milwaukee. She was a housewife.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda (Marvin) Denzin of South Milwaukee and Carol (William) Donath of Miami, FL; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Elsie Troudt of Ripon and Lillie (Victor) Paskvan of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
Funeral services for Irma Laura Foss will be held Saturday, July 18, 1992, at 1:30 p.m. at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett. The Reverend Alvin Aichele will officiate. Interment will be in the Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 1992, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Memorials in her name may be directed to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett or to the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Milwaukee.
