Irma Sauerbrei

Irma Luella Sauerbrei, age 73, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 1990, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 24, 1917, in Princeton, a daughter of Carl and Ida Erdman Klawitter. November 2, 1940, she married Clarence Sauerbrei in Green Lake. Mrs. Sauerbrei worked at Green Lake High School and at Ripon College Commons in the food service department. Most recently she had worked as a volunteer at Ripon Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Sauerbrei moved to Ripon in 1976 from the farm in Green Lake where she had spent much of her life. She was a member of the Ripon Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Immanuel united Methodist Church, Ripon and the Mary-Martha Circle and Christian Bible Class of the church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Donald (Sharon) Sauerbrei and Harold (Nancy) Sauerbrei, both of Markesan; four grandchildren, Dennis of Dousman, Melody, Rebecca and Roxann, all of Markesan; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and three half-brothers.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 18, 1990 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Sauerbrei will be held Wednesday, December 19, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with the Reverend Robert LeCount officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established for the church.
