Irmgard Timm

Irmgard Marie Timm, age 95, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Markesan Resident Home with her family by her side.

Irmgard was born May 3, 1919, in the Town of Metomen, WI, daughter of Arnold and Albertina (Roeder) Jacobs. On June 17, 1939, she married Lester Timm in Ripon. Irmgard was both farmer and housewife, working along with her husband on their farm on Scott Hill Road. She was a member of Homemakers and Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Irmgard enjoyed sewing and did so for J.P. Luther from 1979 to right before she passed. She also enjoyed gardening, taking care of animals, yard work and especially spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her three sons, Donald (Diane) Timm of Green Lake, WI, Ray (Toni) Timm of Fond du Lac, WI and Larry (Colleen) Timm of Green Lake, WI; daughter-in-law, Roseann Timm of Ripon, WI; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Irmgard was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lester; son, Roy; infant brother, Clyde; sister, Lauretta Werch and brother-in-law, Melvin Werch.

Visitation for Irmgard will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, from 10 – 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 430 W. Griswold St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Irmgard will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Reverend Clay R. Salmela will officiate. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery in the Town of Green Lake. Memorials may be directed to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
