Isabel Potts

Isabel Potts, age 87, formerly of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 1990, in Justin, TX.
She was born June 26, 1902, in Ripon, a daughter to Otto and Anabel (Trevor) Luck. Her father was the former owner and publisher of the Ripon Commonwealth Press. On November 30, 1929, she married Edward Potts. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1981.
Mrs. Potts was a 1923 graduate of Ripon College. She was a homemaker and had a resided in Ripon, Chicago and since 1987, in Denton, TX. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Ripon and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include three daughters, June Potts of Denton, TX, Mrs. Judith Paulsen of Des Plaines, IL and Mrs. Ruth Fleck of Columbus, GA; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Isabel will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 1990, from 6 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon where the Order of Eastern Star rites will be held at 8:00 pm.
Funeral service for Isabel will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 1990, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Lawrence Janssen will officiate. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
