Isabel Thiel

Isabel Thiel, age 79, of Ripon, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 2, 1997, at Ripon Medical Center.

She was born April 25, 1918, in Princeton, a daughter to the late Frank and Helen (Bukowski) Jeske. She attended school in Princeton and was a graduate of Princeton High School. On August 22, 1942, she married J. Gordon Thiel in Princeton. Isabel lived in Ripon most of her life, and was a clerk at Walgreen Drugs in downtown Ripon and did housekeeping at Parkview Care Center. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon.

Survivors include 3 sons, Gary (Diane) Thiel of New Holstein, Richard Thiel of Ripon and David Thiel of Menomonee Falls, and 2 grandchiIdren, Michael and Karen. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, J. Gordon Thiel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, September 6, 1997 at 11 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 A.M. until the hour of the Mass at the church. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Princeton.
