J. Edward Schneider

J. Edward Schneider, age 79, of Ripon, WI, passed away on November 1, 1987, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
J. Edward was born May 31, 1908, in Ripon, WI, the son of Edward and Emma (Butzke) Schneider. He graduated from Ripon High School and went to school at Ripon College. J. Edward married Lillian Hielke on June 26, 1936. He worked as a farmer. J. Edward was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. He was also a member of the Ripon-Green Lake Masonic Lodge #95, member of Ripon O.E.S. #151, Tripoli Shrine, past member of the Ripon School Board for 12 years. J. Edward also served on C.P. & CESA Boards and was a past 4-H Leader.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian; three daughters, Sandra Schneider Dunn of Ripon, Cynthia Schneider of Wauwatosa and Kathlene Mattison of Amberg, WI. He was preceded in death by one son.
Visitation for J. Edward will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 1987, from 6 – 7:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a Masonic Service held at 7:30 pm.
Graveside Service for J. Edward will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 1987, at 10:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon with Reverend C.W. Tretow officiating.
