Jaclyn Reysen

August 13, 1971 — October 24, 2001

Jaclyn M. Reysen, age 30, of Green Lake, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, October 24, 2001, at Ripon Medical Center.

She was born August 13, 1971, in Oak Lawn, IL, the daughter of James and Donna (Rodd) Schmidt. After graduating from Oak Lawn High School, she attended dental assistant school and then worked at the Markesan Dental Clinic. The past 2 years she had been a bartender at the Goose Blind. She had lived in Green Lake for 6 years, and on March 27, 1999, she married Jason C. Reysen.

Survivors include her husband, Jason of Green Lake; mother, Donna Schmidt of Bridgeview, IL; two brothers, Joseph Schmidt of Bridgeview, IL and James and Michelle Schmidt II of Bolingbrook, IL; grandmother, Cecelia Rodd of Chicago, IL; nephews and niece, Jay, Jesse and Jessica Schmidt; and mother and father-in-law, JoAnn and John Reysen of Fredonia, WI. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Meghan Reysen; three brothers-in-law, Chris and Theresa Reysen and their two children, Hannah and Abby, and Nathan and Noah Reysen; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James J. Schmidt this past year; grandmother, Helen Schmidt; grandfathers, Cecil Rodd and Joseph Schmidt.

Funeral service for Jaclyn M. Reysen will be at 10 am on Monday, October 29, 2001, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend Karen Gygax-Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow. Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, from 3 – 9:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in her name to MS (Multiple Sclerosis), W223 N608 Saratoga Dr. Suite 110, Waukesha, WI 53186-0401.
