James Floyd Booher, 76, of Route #1, Markesan, died Thursday, October 27, 1988, at University Hospital in Madison.
He was born November 27, 1911, in West Lima, WI, to James and Edith Hoffman Booher. On April 1, 1939, he married Marjorie Adams in Montello.
Mr. Booher was educated in Viola, WI. He had resided 43 years in the Markesan area. He worked for 20 years at the Markesan Lumber Yard and six years at prairie Tubular Rivet.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; one daughter, Carol Booher of Waupun; one son, James D. Booher of Waupun; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Grahn of Green Lake; one brother, George of Beaver Dam. He was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at 2:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Dwight Bastian will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn, Green Lake County.
Friends may call Monday from 1 – 2:00 pm at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
