James P. Dunn, age 72, of Ripon, WI passed away on Saturday, July 25, 1953 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
James was born in the Town of Metomen, WI on December 7, 1880, the son of Peter and Margarite (Shields) Dunn. He farmed in the Town of Metomen most of his life, and has lived in Ripon for the last two years. On September 19, 1905 he married Catherine Doorley in Milwaukee, WI.
James is survived by his wife, Catherine Dunn of Ripon, WI, and a brother, Thomas Dunn of Oshkosh, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Margarite Dunn; and his sister.
Visitation for James will be held from 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 26, 1953 until 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 28, 1953, with a Rosary at 8:00 pm, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI.
Funeral service for James will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 28, 1953 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon, with Reverend Clarence Schouten officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Springvale, WI.
