James LeRoy Gross, 68, of 504 Russell Drive, Ripon, passed away at his home on November 25, 2002, with his family at his side.
Jim was born on January 26, 1934, in Oshkosh, the son of Thomas and Mildred (Waddell) Gross. He attended Oshkosh High School. On February 14, 1972, he married Carol Peschke at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale. He had lived in Ripon the past 18 years, and was a van driver for Ripon Area Service Center. Jim was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Carol of Ripon; 1 son, Robert Lee Peschke (Kathy) of Rosendale; 1 daughter, Susan Fuderer (James) of Ripon; 5 grandchildren, Chad, Tyler, Karl, Erik & Nikki; 1 great-grandson, Noah; and brother, Robert Gross of CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 sister.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2002, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Mose officiating, with a visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale. A memorial has been established.
