James "Jim" Mueller

James “Jim” Mueller, age 77, of Pickett, WI, passed away on July 24, 2023 at his home.

Jim was born on December 9, 1945 in Ripon, WI, son of Victor and Irene (Wayer) Mueller. He attended Ripon High School. In 1978 he married the love of his life, Linda Eiler at Messiah Lutheran Church. Jim was a dedicated man and spent 45 years as a Quality Control Inspector at Oshkosh Truck. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed hunting. He had a passion for birds of all types, especially watching the pelicans fly over Rush Lake and building houses for the purple martins. Jim loved his farm in Pickett that he shared with Linda and planted many trees to provide a home for the birds. He cherished his many dogs throughout his life and always had a special place for his Springer Spaniel. 

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda Mueller and his brother, Tom Mueller.

A gathering for Jim was held on August 1, 2023 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
