James H. Page, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on February 5, 1988, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
James was born on March 9, 1906, in Ripon, the son of Henry and Anna (Witt) Page. He attended school in Ripon, and went on to become a delivery man for Nabisco Bakery in Milwaukee. James lived in Milwaukee until 1979, and in Ripon since then. On January 26, 1927, he married Elda Luedke. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Ripon.
James is survived by his sons, Melvin of Brookfield, and Leland of Verona, PA; a daughter, Arlene Vincent of Bloomington, IL; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn and Warren both of Ripon; seven sisters: Madeline Werch of Berlin, Leslie Prellwitz of Sheboygan, Ruth Ulmer of Appleton, Luella Acord of Fond du Lac, Norma Singmaster of Ripon, Emilie Siegmann of Ripon, and Joyce Kahl of Redgranite. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation for James will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 on Sunday, February 7, 1988, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
A funeral service for James will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 1988, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, with Reverend Robert LeCount officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials in James name may be given to the Diabetes Association.
