James M. Peterson, age 64, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 1986, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
James was born December 22, 1921, in Waseca, MN, the son of Soren T. and Sigrid (Miller) Peterson. He was educated in LaCross, WI. James served our country in the United States Army during WWII. On January 31, 1947, James married Dagny Schye. He worked as a truck driver for Bird Trucking. James was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dagny; one son, Mark of Ripon; one grandson, one brother, Darby Peterson of St. Paul, MN and one sister, Gynith (Ed) Meier of Winona, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for James will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 1986, from 5 – 6:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Private family service will be held at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Carl L. Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will take place at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon.
