James Pruss

James Taras Pruss, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 1990, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
He was born July 4, 1900, in Russia, a son of Taras and Motrona (Brizgalo) Pruss. In January of 1932, he married Magdelen Panuiski in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on December 15, 1968. Mr. Pruss was a farmer in the Town of Nepeuskun, Winnebago County.
Survivors include six daughters, Lucille (Wayne) Wagner of West Allis, Anna (George) Karamitis of Berlin, Marion (Alex) Docta, Marlene Pruss, Virginia (Richard) Swederske and Christine (Dennis) Waters, all of Ripon; one son, James Pruss of Ripon; 15 grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Sophia Pruss of Fond du Lac and other relatives and friends.
Visitation for James will be held on Sunday, November 25, 1990, from 3 – 6:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for James will be held on Monday, November 26, 1990, at 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. Reverend George E. Tsongranis will officiate. Interment will be in Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica.
