James Francis Reilly, age 68, of N1147 Lucerne Lakewood Rd, Neshkoro, Waushara County, died Sunday, March 23, 2003, at his home.
He was born March 1, 1935, in Waupun, the son of Leonard James and Merrill (Wetzel) Reilly. He graduated from Brandon High School. On April 14, 1956, he married Elaine Kuehn at Immanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church in Ripon. Jim worked as a tanner for 30 years at Rueping Leather Co. in Fond du Lac, and then worked in maintenance at Ripon College for 11 years. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon. Jim served in the Wisconsin National Guard in Waupun & Ripon from 1951-1959.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine of Neshkoro; daughter, Diane Reilly Dolan of Stevens Point; 4 sons, Daniel Reilly of Rosholt, David Reilly (Marisa) of Laramie, WY, Kelly Reilly (Jennifer) of Ripon, and Christopher Reilly (Christine) of Port Edwards; grandchildren, Amanda, Megan & Melissa Reilly of Schofield, Andrew & Erin Dolan of Stevens Point, Matthew & Benjamin Reilly of Ripon, and Erik Shoden of Laramie, WY; and brother, Thomas Reilly (Arliss) of Duluth, GA. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Gen Reiter of Princeton; step-mother-in-law, Blanche Kuehn of Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Alice Uecker (Allen) of Ripon; brothers-in-law, Edward Kuehn (Sherri) of Oconomowoc and Carl Kuehn of Yakima, WA; many nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Ronald & Gary Reilly; 2 sisters, Mary Ann Reilly (infant) & Jean (Gerhardt) Machkovech; nephew, Robert Uecker; and father-in-law, Clarence Kuehn.
Funeral service for James Francis Reilly will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Immanuel United Methodist Church with Rev. David A. Busker officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place at a later date. A memorial has been established.
