James Louis Revels, age 64, of Ripon, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008, while fishing on Green Lake, in Green Lake, WI after catching his limit of Bluegills.
James was born on January 29, 1944, in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of Elmer and Lucille (Miller) Revels. He married Linda Rae Hartman in 1962 in Ripon. He was retired from Del Monte in Markesan, WI. James was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife Linda, sons, Randal (Cindy) Revels of Ripon, WI, Conrad (Dawn) Revels of Brandon, WI, daughter Jody Revels of Ripon, WI, his mother Lucille Moll. Grandchildren Tyler Zick, Kayla Revels, Nate Revels, Corissa Revels, Ricky Keller, Paige Revels, Bailey Revels. Brother and sister-in-laws, many nieces and nephews and many special friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Elmer Revels, step father, Howard Moll, in-laws Leslie and Doris Hartman, and two brother-in-laws, Eugene Miller and Roger Kapp.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home from 4-6:00pm.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at 6:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. Pastor Dennis Meier will be officiating.
A memorial has been established.
